Sports-related amenities such as basketball and tennis courts not so much. "Most athletes, particularly basketball players, like to live near workout facilities rather than work out at their homes," said Re/Max Olson & Associates estate director Jordan Cohen, who has sold and bought homes for some of L.A.'s biggest sports figures over the last three decades. "They like to be at the gym, training with other guys, and then they like to leave it all there and come home."

Mickelson, who owns other property in the area, had previously asked as much as $12 million for the home.

Businessman and film producer Thomas Tull, who has produced or financed multiple Hollywood hits, including the Dark Knight trilogy, 300, and Jurassic World, has listed his 33-acre estate in Westlake Village, Calif., for $85 million. After purchasing the compound, Tull (who is also a part-owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team) and his wife, Alba, re-imagined the existing homes from the ground up, adding additional space and modern amenities to create an out-of-this-world estate. In total, there are 12 bedrooms and 18 full baths spread out across four separate homes.
